IRONTON – The Ironton-Russell Bridge was open to traffic September 12 as work has been suspended due to inclement weather.

The bridge will remain open to traffic throughout the weekend, and contractors for the Ohio Department of Transportation will resume their schedule Monday, September 15.

While the rehabilitation and preservation project continues through October 31, the bridge is subject to daytime-only closure, from 8:30 to 4 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
