Teresa C. McMackin, 87, of Ironton, died at Saturday, Sept. 20, 2008, at Kingsbrook Lifecare Center in Ashland, Ky. She was the widow of the late Earl Francis McMackin.
She was born Aug. 6, 1921 in Lawrence County, the daughter of Carl Wheelersburg and Rose Ann Sweeney.
She was a homemaker and member of Saint Lawrence Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by one son, Paul Edward McMackin; two sisters, Rose Yongerman and Mary Wetzel.
Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Rita and Jerry Ugrin, of Portsmouth; two sons and daughters-in-law, Tom and Karen McMackin, of Delaware, and Frank and Sandy McMackin, of Huntington, W.Va.; two brothers, Carl Pat Wheelersburg, of Portsmouth, and John Wheelersburg, of Denver, Colo.; one sister, Rita Spitler of Carmel, Ind., as well as 13 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
Funeral will be on 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Lawrence Catholic Church with David Huffman officiating. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. today at O’Keefe-Baker Funeral Home.
