HUNTINGTON, W.Va. — Le Cookstore, on Third Avenue in Huntington, across from Pullman’s Square, announces its list of cooking classes for October.

Oct. 2: German Night- In celebration of Octoberfest, we will make some traditional German food, including Apple Strudel.

Oct. 7: Pasta- October is National Pasta Month. We’ll be making pasta dough from scratch and incorporating the dough into some traditional Pasta dishes.

Oct. 9: Quiche & Crepes- This class is so popular it has become a once a month favorite. You will make and take home your own quiche and make some wonderfully thin crepes filled with fresh fruit mixture and topped with chocolate sauce

Oct. 10: My, My We Like Pie- We will make pie crust from scratch and show you techniques for making your own delicious pies.

Oct. 11: Kids Class- We are starting our fall schedule of classes for kids ages 8 –12. This weeks class will be cupcake making and decorating.

Oct. 14: Everything Pumpkin- We will make pumpkin pie, pumpkin roll and pumpkin soup.

Oct. 16: Candy and Fudge- We will show you easy and great tasting fudge and candy recipes that you can do at home.
