Seven-hundred billion dollars to be assigned to a government department to right the economy scares me to no end. These monies are to be lent to financial institutions.

I’m wondering what will be the incentive for these institutions to use this money to help common people keep their homes.

I believe that throwing money at this problem will not make it go away. Let the market correct itself.

In the meantime, start learning to speak Chinese, for one day they will want our IOUs paid.
