IRONTON — The Ironton-Russell Bridge will be open to traffic Saturday and Sunday.

Contractors for the Ohio Department of Transportation are not scheduled to work on the bridge this weekend; however, construction will continue through the end of the work day Friday and then resume Monday.

The rehabilitation and preservation project continues through Oct, 31, and the bridge is subject to daytime-only closure, from 8:30 to 4 p.m.
