Hiller’s 4 TD passes lead WMU over Ohio, 41-20

Tim Hiller threw for a season-high 347 yards and four touchdowns and running back Brandon West scored three touchdowns, leading Western Michigan to a 41-20 victory over Ohio on Saturday.

Hiller topped 300 yards for the third time this season and completed 24-of-37 passes for the Broncos (5-1, 3-0 Mid-American). Western, which ran up 503 yards in total offense, has won five straight since a season-opening loss at Nebraska and is one of three MAC West teams unbeaten in league play.

Ohio’s Boo Jackson completed 13-of-22 passes for 144 yards and three touchdowns, but was intercepted twice and sacked five times as the Bobcats (1-5, 0-2) lost by their largest margin this season.
