ASHLAND, Ky. — Ashland, Ky., police have arrested an Ironton man they say broke into a bank in that city Saturday night.
Gordon King, 21, was arrested without incident Tuesday night at the Ashland Plaza Hotel. He was taken to the Boyd County Detention Center in Catlettsburg. Earlier in the day Tuesday, Ashland police issued a press release about the burglary at the City National Bank at Carter Avenue and 17th Street. In that release, they said they were seeking King in connection with the incident. An alleged accomplice, Sara Conley, of Catlettsburg, Ky., was arrested early Sunday morning. Both King and Conley are charged with third degree burglary. Police have not said how much money the pair allegedly obtained in the incident.
“The female that was arrested was an employee of the bank,” Ashland Police Lt. David Sloan said. He declined to give other specifics about the incident.
