Clinton returning to Lawrence County
She came to visit once this year to stump for her own candidacy. She will return Friday to champion the cause of fellow Democrat Barack Obama.
New York Sen. Hillary Clinton will be at the Mains Rotunda at Ohio University Southern. The doors will open at 12:35 p.m. and the program begins at 1 :35 p.m., according to information from the Obama-Biden campaign.
She is expected to highlight the Obama-Biden plan to create new jobs, cut taxes for working families and strengthen the economy.
This will be Clinton’s second trip to Lawrence County this year. In February, when she was running against Obama for the Democratic nomination, Clinton visited the CAO Head Start facility in Hanging Rock.
