SOUTH POINT — Sharon L. Saunders, 63, of South Point, is now resting in peace with the Lord Monday, Nov. 3, 2008.
The Jackson native was born July 26, 1945, the daughter of the late George and Helen Sheline Leach. She is survived by her husband, Terry Saunders, whom she married March 18, 1969.
Mrs. Saunders was a 1963 graduate of Jackson High School. She was a member of the Second Presbyterian Church in Huntington, W. Va., and a homemaker.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Jean Morgan, and two brothers, James Leach and Jerry Leach.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Bryan Saunders, of Cherryville, N.C.; a daughter, Christy Brammer, of South Point; her grandchildren, Stephanie Barnes, Bryan Saunders Jr., and Jennifer Saunders, all of Cherryville; a great grandchild, Lilly Ann Barnes; sister and brother-in-law, Doris and Seigel Terry, of Jackson; a sister and brother-in-law, Rose and Basil Copley, of Jackson; a sister and brother-in-law, Norma and Fred Riegel, of Jackson; a sister and brother-in-law, Jan and Don Fannin, of Jackson; a sister and brother-in-law, Pat and Ronnie Rhea, of Jackson; sister and brother-in-law, Nancy of Marvin Marks, of Jackson; a sister, Karen Wickline, of Jackson; a sister and brother-in-law, Vicky and Don Baxter, of Jackson; a sister, Kathy Greer, of Jackson; a brother and sister-in-law, Errol and Susan Leach, of Jackson; a brother and sister-in-law, Rick and Dorita Leach, of Jackson, and her sisters-in-law, Patty Leach and Jenny Leach.
