FRANKLIN FURNACE — John Reginald ”Reggie” Lilly, 62, of Franklin Furnace, died Friday, Oct. 31, 2008, at Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, Ky.
The Hinton, W. Va., native was born March 3, 1946, the son of Thelma Gulley Lilly, of Ironton, and the late John Raymond Lilly. He is survived by his wife, Candace Kidd Lilly, whom he married Dec. 15, 1986.
He was a graduate of Marshall University where he earned his bachelors degree. He retired in 2001 from ACF Industries where he worked as an inspector for 25 years and was also a member of the Holiday Point Yacht Club.
In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by a grandson, Timothy Clark.
In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, John Robert and Rosie Lilly and Randall Shane and Tammy Lilly, all of Ironton; two daughters, Jessica Rae Lilly, of Franklin Furnace and Lea Clark, of Ironton; a brother and sister-in-law, Randy and Gena Lilly, of Ironton; a sister and brother-in-law, Becky and John Hodgson, of Ironton; four granddaughters and three grandsons.
Memorial Service will be 3 p.m. Saturday at Plymouth Heights Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Tim Throckmorton officiating. Visitation will be 2-3 p.m. Saturday at the church.
