Neglecting climate change is a mistake

The environmental issues we face today are simply to numerous and important to be addressed as individual problems, they are multi-disciplinary and can/will only be solved as such.
It is my belief that in order for us to move ahead with positive results we must first somehow change the mindset of the international community as a whole, from one that lets us believe the earth can recover from mankind’s abuse on its own, to one that lets us believe that the earth needs our help.
For the U.S. to be fully engaged in the fight against global climate change, Congress must support legislation that requires deep reductions in heat-trapping emissions now. It is long overdue that Congress acts to address this urgent threat.

The bottom line is: we need a bill that will help solve the problem. Ending global climate change is a win-win situation that will conserve our environment and the people who depend on it, improve our national security by reducing our addicition to oil, and make the U.S. a leader in producing clean energy jobs and technologies.
Please write/email your representatives asking them to stop neglecting this problem.
