Bobby Dean Hughart, 65, of Willow Wood, died Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2008, at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, Ky.
The Beckley, W.Va., native was born Feb. 14, 1943, the son of the late William and Laura Maye Jacobs Hughart. He was preceded in death by his wife, Karen Kaye Hughart Mullins.
He was a member of Myrtle Ridge Baptist Church in Willow Wood.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by a son, Bobby Dean Hughart, Jr. and eight brothers and sisters.
He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Marshall Lee Hughart and Alesia Workman, of Burlington three daughters and a son-in-law, Amanda Kay and Jack Saunders, of Huntington, W.Va., Martha Grace Hughart, of Lanark, W.Va., and Victoria Lynn Hughart, of Winchester, Va.; three stepsons and their wives, Jessie Lee Blankenship and his wife Sonja Shumatte, of Ravencliff, W. Va., William Clarence Blankenship and his wife, Donna, of Glenn Rogers, W. Va., and Carlos H. Blankenship and his wife, Demeda, of West Hamlin, W.Va.; a step-daughter, Kathrine Kay Humphrey and her husband, Norman of Willow Wood; 21 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
