Real meaning of Christmas can’t be found in gifts

This Christmas season we need to think what Christmas is all about, the true meaning behind it all.

Over time Christmas has become very commercialized and everybody thinks about what they are wanting for Christmas. I prefer calling it CHRISTmas because the name Christ isn’t in the word Christmas for nothing.

The true meaning of Christmas has nothing to do with how many presents we received, but it’s the birth of a very important child named Jesus.

Every year, I listen to my parents read Luke Ch. 2 out of our family Bible that tells the true meaning. Sure, it’s nice to get everything on your Christmas list, but which is more important, spending time with people who care about you, or worrying about how much was spent on each of your gifts?

This Christmas you should be thankful even if you get only one gift and it’s one of the smallest gifts possible because there are some people who couldn’t even afford that small gift that you don’t pay much attention to.
