All That Glitters

It’s an idea that came as the two owners were brainstorming. Tracey Ferguson, owner of All That, the trendy hair salon and spa on Marion Pike, does the nails of her friend, Angela Sullivan.
“We sat and talked and came up with it,” Sullivan said.
What it is is Glitters, an upscale women’s clothing boutique that opened a week ago, located next door to All That.
“There is no boutique around here,” she said. “Different clothes that you can’t get at the mall.”
A Glitters customer can range from a college girl to the mother of the bride to a career woman.
“Tracey and I both love clothes,” Sullivan said. “You just feel better.”
The two friends go to market at Atlanta and Chicago and check out the latest fashions. Right now, they are buying for spring and expect that season’s clothing in the boutique by March.
“That is just how fast you have to order,” Sullivan said.
On hangers around the store are posh frocks for holiday parties, proms or weddings, casual winter sweaters, oversized reptile skin bags, clutches, wallets, evening shoes, even a line of fake fur mink for babies from diaper bags, to blankets to booties to coats with hoods.
Designers featured are Party Time Collections, Frank Lyman, Sherry Hill, Jovania and Big Buddha bags. There is also a line of accessories from jewelry to winter gloves to scarves.
The boutique is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
