Darcus McWhorter, 51, of Russell, died Monday, Dec. 15, 2008, at Wurtland Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of Virgil McWhorter, who survives. Funeral will be 1 p.m. Friday at Evans Funeral Home with the Rev. Vernell Ingle officiating. Burial will follow in Rude Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
