Playing on the road, getting in foul trouble, things didn’t seem good for the Green Lady Bobcats.

But the Lady ’Cats were able to overcome the obstacles and beat the Portsmouth Notre Dame Lady Titans 42-37 Thursday in a Southern Ohio Conference game.

“It wasn’t pretty but it’s a win. It’s tough to go on the road and win,” said Green coach Dale Royse. “We got in a some trouble and Notre Dame made a run, but we hung in there and battled.”
