Lonnie Fry, 48, of Ironton, died Friday, Dec. 19, 2008, at Our Lady Bellefonte Hospital in Russell, Ky.
The Maryland native was born June 11, 1960, the son of the late Lonnie Ronald Fry and Mary Alice Johnson.
Lonnie was a driver for On Time Garbage and a graduate of Rock Hill High School. He was also a member of the Ashland Eagles.
He is survived by his step-father, Lowell Johnson, of Sciotoville; a sister and brother in law, Wanda and Kenton Quint of Forest; three brother and two sisters-in-law, Keith and Sandy Fry, of Kitts Hill, Marty Johnson of Columbus, and Calvin and Cindy Johnson, of Ironton.
Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Tuesday at Phillips Funeral Home with Dr. Rob Newman officiating. Burial will follow in Haverhill Cemetery. Friends may call 1 p.m. until time of service Tuesday at the funeral home. To offer the family condolences, please visit www.phillipsfuneralhome.net.
