George “Mitchell” McClave, 61, of Lancaster, passed away Saturday, Dec. 20, 2008, at the Pickering House surrounded by loved ones.
He was born on Feb. 27 1947, to Pauline Worix and the late Maurice McClave. Mitchell was a member of St. Mary Church. He served in the U.S. Air Force.
Mitchell was preceded in death by his father, Maurice McClave.
He is survived by wife of 38 years, Jacqueline (Alstott) McClave; his mother, Pauline (Worix) McClave, of Ashland. Ky.; his brothers, Rick (Angie) McClave and Randy (Donna) McClave, both of Ashland, Ky., and Rex (Jennifer) McClave of Huntington W.Va.; his sisters, Sue (Don) Welsh of Rantoul, Ill., and Cindy (John) Parks of Portage Mich.; and several nieces and nephews.
