Edward Douglas Mollett, 46, of Franklin Furnace, died Monday, Dec. 22, 2008, at his residence. The Portsmouth native was born Dec. 14, 1962, the son of Parker Mollett of Wheelersburg and Garnett Hurst Mollett Carver also of Wheelersburg. He was preceded in death by his wife, Juanita Faye Swann Mollett.
Mr. Mollett attended Green High School and was of the Pentecostal faith.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Christina Mollett; and a brother, William Dewayne Mollett.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a daughter, Jessica Mollett of Franklin Furnace; a son, Jeremy Mollett of Franklin Furnace; three grandchildren; a brother, Danny Mollett Sr. of Franklin Furnace four sisters, Patty Murphy of Washington Courthouse, Kathy Mollett of Wheelersburg, Brenda Baldridge of Sciotoville, and Elva Mollett of Gahanna; a stepmother, Mindy Mollett of Wheelersburg; and a stepbrother, Douglas Booke of Wheelersburg.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Sunday at Phillips Funeral Home with Sister Betty Riley and Rev. William Stapleton officiating. Burial will follow in Mollett Cemetery.
