Sally Ann Reynolds, 60, of Coal Grove, passed away Friday, Dec. 26, 2008, at her residence. The Ironton native was born Sept. 22, 1948, the daughter of James Shope and the late Midreth Devore Shope.
Mrs. Reynolds was a 1965 graduate of Rock Hill High School and was of the Baptist faith. She was also a manager with Consolidated Freight were she retired in 1997.
In addition to her mother she is preceded in death by her husband, L. James “Buck” Reynolds, whom she married in 1967, and her grandmother, Mamye Shope.
She is survived by her father, James E. Shope of Ironton; a daughter, Lora Reynolds of Ironton; a daughter and son-in-law, Angela M. and Roland Hively of Scottown; a son and daughter-in-law, David and Tina Reynolds of Ironton; a son, Phillip Reynolds of Dayton; a son, Billy and Mandy Reynolds of Wayne, W. Va.; four brothers and sister-in-laws
Richard and Mary Jo Shope of Ironton, Buster and Reva Shope of Hanging Rock, Paul and Mary Shope of Hanging Rock, Roger and Patty Shope of Ironton; 13 grandchildren, Chadd, Tiffany, and Corey Russell, all of Ironton, James, Jo-Serena, and Kody Reynolds, all of Coal Grove, Jimmy Hively of Scottown, Amber and Delany Reynolds of Ironton and Dayton and Garrett, McKenzie, and Madison Reynolds, all of Wayne.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at Phillips Funeral Home, with the Rev. James Cremeans officiating. Burial will follow in Oakland Chapel Cemetery. Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday.
