Army Capt. Jeffery R. Wooten has arrived for duty at the Lincoln Recruiting Station, Neb.

Wooten, a military police member with 18 years of military service, is assigned to the Denver Army Recruiting Battalion.

He is the son of Dannie R. Wooten of Route 243 , South Point, Ohio, and Linda K. Vernatter of Peach Creek, W.Va.

The captain graduated in 1985 from Chapmanville High School, W.Va., and received a bachelor’s degree in 1990 from the University of Charleston, W.Va.
