IRONTON — In observance and celebration of the man’s legacy, Ohio University Southern will host the 18th Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Celebration at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 19.

The celebration will be in the Bowman Auditorium on the campus of Ohio University Southern, 1804 Liberty Avenue, Ironton.

The 2009 theme is “A Change is Gonna Come… ” and will be presented by featured keynote speaker Cicero M. Fain III.

Fain is a specialist in early American, African American and modern African history. His current work is entitled “Race, River, and the Railroad, Black Huntington, West Virginia, 1871-1914.
