IRONTON — Some City of Ironton residents are under a boil water advisory.

Construction crews handling the demolition of the old River Valley Health Systems building cut into a water line on Friday, according to Ironton Police.

Residents from Eighth to Ninth streets between Kemp and Pleasant are affected and are advised to boil all water before use. The advisory remains in effect until further notice.
