WHEELERSBURG — The Community Health Department at Southern Ohio Medical Center will offer a free cardiac risk screening from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 16 at the SOMC Lucasville LIFE Center and from 1 to 3:30 p.m. the same day at the SOMC Wheelersburg LIFE Center.

The screening will include blood sugar, total cholesterol, HDL, blood pressure and health counseling. Participants should fast two hours before the test. Appointments are not necessary.
