Green struggled on offense the entire game in a 39-24 loss to the Portsmouth Clay Lady Panthers on Thursday in a Southern Ohio Conference game.

“After that, I don’t know what happened. This one had me scratching my head,” said Green coach Dale Royse.

Green (11-7, 8-5) led Clay 8-7 after the first quarter but scored only four points in each the second and fourth quarters.

The Lady Bobcats were down 15-12 at the half and just 26-20 after the third quarter.

Ashlee Runyon led Green with nine points.

Katie Wheeler had 12 points and Dani Summers 10 for Clay.
