Man who accidentally shot neighbor indicted

An Ironton area man who accidentally shot and seriously injured a neighbor in January was indicted late last week by a Lawrence County Common Pleas jury.

Floyd C. McCann, 50, of 38 Township Road 203W, was indicted on charges of felonious assault having a weapon under a disability because he is a convicted felon. Mark Robinson was shot once in the upper back while checking on a noise he heard outside his home on the evening of Jan. 7.

Richard Young, 24, 16132 State Route 7, Crown City, assault; this charge carries a firearm specification.

Waylon Ferguson, 28, 16178 State Route 7, Crown City, complicity to felonious assault and resisting arrest.

Marvin Ray Ferguson, 48, 16150 State Route 7, Crown City, complicity to felonious assault and resisting arrest.

Rebecca Anderson, 27, 210 St., Proctorville, receiving stolen property.

Gregory Dement, 41, 1282 State Route 775, Proctorville, receiving stolen property.

Richard Stacy, 25, 140 Private Drive 314, Ironton, carrying a concealed weapon.

LaGrace Tillman, 27, Toledo, trafficking in crack cocaine, possession of crack cocaine and tampering with evidence.

LaPercy Allen, 19, Toledo, trafficking in crack cocaine and possession of crack cocaine.

Johnnie Perkins, 38, Toledo, trafficking in crack cocaine, possession of crack cocaine.

Ronald Harris, 29, 404 State St., Proctorville, attempt to commit burglary and domestic violence.

Joshua Brofford, 24, 2212 N. Fifth St., Ironton, escape.

Kimberly Wray, 39, whose address is listed as the Lawrence County Jail, burglary.

Raymond Johnson, 44, 422 Fourth Ave., Chesapeake, aggravated robbery.

Michael Floyd, 45, whose address is listed at the Lawrence County Jail, assault on a peace officer and resisting arrest.

The grand jury met Thursday and Friday.
