Tickets are currently available for the 2009 Ohio High School Athletic Association State Wrestling, Girls Basketball and Boys Basketball Tournaments that will be held next month at The Ohio State University’s Jerome Schottenstein Center in Columbus.

All-session tickets are currently available for the state wrestling tournament, which takes place March 5-7.

The cost for an all-session ticket book (five sessions) is $50 each (Terrace Level available only).

Single-session ticket sales for the state wrestling tournament begin on Monday, March 2, at 10 a.m., with tickets priced at $13 each.

The OHSAA is expecting extra single-session ticket inventory to be available this year.

All-session and single-session tickets are currently on sale for the state girls basketball tournament, which will be held March 19-21. The cost for all-session ticket books is $64 each, while single-session tickets are $10 each.

OHSAA boys state basketball tournament all-session ticket sales begin Monday at 10 a.m., and single-session ticket sales begin Monday, March 23, at 10 a.m. The cost for all-session ticket books is $144 for the Entry and Club Levels of the arena or $120 for the Terrace Level, while single-session tickets are $15 for the Entry and Club Levels and $12 for the Terrace Level.

All-session and single-session tickets for those three state tournaments can be purchased through Ticketmaster by calling 1-800-745-3000 or ordering on-line at ticketmaster.com.

Tickets can also be purchased in person at Ticketmaster locations (including Kroger stores) and at the OSU Athletic Ticket Office in the Schottenstein Center.

Besides those regular sales, special group discount ticket orders are currently being accepted for the championship games on the Saturdays of the state girls and state boys basketball tournaments.

Groups of 10 or more can purchase tickets to the four championship games of the girls tournament for $20 per person (a savings of 50 percent per ticket!), and groups of 10 or more can purchase tickets to the four championship games of the boys tournament for $30 per person (a savings of $18 per ticket).

Included with the orders are give-away items for each attendee and special group recognition within the arena. The deadline for groups to purchase discounted tickets for the “Championship Saturday” promotions is Wednesday, March 4.
