MILFORD — Frances I. Campbell, 82, of Milford, formerly of Ironton, passed away Thursday, Feb. 26, 2009, at the home of her son in Milford, Ohio. The Munich, Germany native was born Dec. 1, 1926, the daughter of the late Andreas and Franziska Norden Leierer. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Alonzo Campbell, Jr., who passed away Dec. 26, 1999.
Mrs. Campbell was a graduate of Marian School in Ashland, Ky., and a member of the V.F.W. Post 8850 Ladies Auxiliary. She was also a homemaker and attended the United Church of God.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Franz Leierer and Andreas Leierer
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Roy E. and Barbara Fouch of Cincinnati; two granddaughters, Samantha Fouch and Sarah Read; and a great granddaughter, Skylur McCormack.
