IRONTON — Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Tri-State is planning the 23nd Annual Bowl For Kids’ Sake to be held on Monday, May 11 at 7 p.m. at Strike Zone Bowling Center in Huntington and Thursday, May 14 at 7 p.m. at Spare Time Recreation in Ironton.

Area businesses, companies, and other groups are invited to form teams of 4-5 persons who will solicit pledges and register to bowl during the event. Inter-company competitions for most funds raised are encouraged. A minimum of $100 in pledges per person is required for participation.

Cumulative prize packages are available based on the amount of funds raised.

The annual event is a major fundraiser for the agency and helps with the cost of day to day operations and services for children. All funds raised during this event stay here in the Tri-State to serve children in the Huntington, Ashland and Ironton area through the mentoring, guidance and friendship of volunteer mentors.
