IRONTON — Riding in “style” just became a little easier in Lawrence County.

So easy in fact that a legendary Rolls Royce can be yours for the evening with just a simple phone call.

BC Limo Service debuted last month with expanded limousine service within the city of Ironton and the Tri-State. The company is located at 1014 S. Second St. in Ironton.

Owned by former Ironton mayor Bob Cleary, BC Limo Service currently possesses a fleet of two limousines – a traditional Lincoln stretch-sedan town car and a rare 1979 Rolls Royce. Both cars are black in color.

Cleary, who currently serves as chairman of Ironton City Council, is also owner of BC Tool Rental, Rent-A-Wreck and Sureway Cab Co. He said the time was right for him to expand into the limousine business based on the other related items he sells and rents including tents, tables and chairs.

“I felt there was a need for a little more upscale service like this in the area and as time went on, the need has grown,” Cleary said.

Besides weddings, proms and a special night on the town, Cleary said customers can contact BC Limo Service for events such as engagements, bridal showers, bachelor and bachelorette parties, anniversaries, holidays, graduations, concerts or birthdays.

What Cleary thinks sets BC Limo Service apart from other luxury units in the Tri-State area is the availability of the Rolls Royce for customers.

“Acquiring the Rolls allows us to present a lot more elegance,” Cleary said. “It’s a real classic Rolls Royce. It was the most popular Rolls ever built.”

Cleary said the Rolls Royce can be used in conjunction with the Lincoln should customers want that option.

He said a wedding party might ride in the Lincoln while the bride and groom ride in the Rolls Royce.

BC Limo Service is available 24 hours, seven days a week, for all limousine transportation service needs.

Cleary encourages customers to contact (740) 532-7980 or www.bctoolrental.com for reservations and early enough for the upcoming prom and wedding seasons.
