Felonious assault — Township Road 1186, South Point Sunday, man reported he was stabbed , later told deputies he cut his finger and his leg during a fight, Ricky Boyd, 41, 1097 County Road 1, South Point, charged with falsification, violation of protection order and taken to jail.

Theft— County Road 1, Chesapeake Saturday, bass guitar and wireless sound system taken from vehicle.

Theft — Township Road 1227, Proctorville Sunday, television receiver taken from residence, suspect named.

Disorderly conduct — Fayette Township Thursday, man reportedly causing trouble, Mark Daniels, 40, County Road 55, Ironton, arrested and taken to jail.

Theft— County Road 57, South Point Friday, three vehicles entered, laptops taken.

Theft — Sherman Thompson Towers, Second Street Monday, money taken from vehicle.

Theft — 1000 block South Fifth Street Monday, personal shopping cart taken, later located.

Assault — Reported at police station Monday, 16-year-old girl reportedly assaulted by adult male.

Fight — 100 block Scott Avenue Monday, no room in jail for additional inmates, one person sent home to Coal Grove in a taxi.

Burglary — 900 block Latonia Street Monday, residence entered.

Burglary — 400 block North Second Street Monday, laptop taken.

Violation of protection order — 1600 block Karin Street Tuesday, Kevin Sheridan, 36, 423 Orchard St., arrested and taken to jail.
