ASHLAND, Ky. — An Ironton man is facing charges in two states after a police pursuit from Ohio into Kentucky Monday night.
Roger Wallace, 46, of 409 Buckhorn St., is charged in Kentucky with criminal mischief, wanton endangerment 1st, resisting arrest, fugitive from another state, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Ironton Police Chief Jim Carey said Wallace will be charged in Ohio with fleeing and eluding, resisting arrest and reckless operation of a vehicle.
Just before 9 p.m. Monday, Ashland police were advised that Ironton police were in pursuit of a white vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed going the wrong direction across the 13th Street bridge into Kentucky.
