FLATWOODS, Ky. — Russell continued its hot-hitting as 10 different players had a hit in a 19-4 win over the Ironton Fighting Tigers on Friday.

Russell’s Will Rice had a double and a home run as he drove in five runs. The Red Devils are averaging 14 runs a game over the last four games.

Storm Burgess also homered for Russell.

Johnathon Schweickart tripled in the third inning to drive in Chris Warner and Josh Pancake. Jonathan Williams followed with a sacrifice fly.

Geoff White hit a solo home run in the fifth for Ironton’s final run.

The Fighting Tigers (3-5) played a doubleheader at Chesapeake on Saturday and travel to Chillicothe on Monday.
