Lady Dragons roll past RV

CHESHIRE — Sashe’ Burcham gave River Valley a two-fold lesson.
Burcham pitched a one-hitter and drove in seven runs as the Fairland Lady Dragons beat the River Valley Lady Raiders 15-2 Monday in an Ohio Valley Conference game.
Burcham was 4-4 with a double and triple to lead a 14-hit attack. She also scored four runs.
Sam Ball was 2-2 and scored four runs, Amber Bias 3-4, Traci Ryder 2-3 and Ashley Witt 2-4.

PEDRO — The Rock Hill Redwomen beat the Coal Grove Lady Hornets in a pair of five-inning Ohio Valley Conference games on Monday.
Jazel DeAutremont had a three-hitter to win the first game and Chelsea Harper fired a one-hitter to take the nightcap.
Rock Hill (8-3, 6-1) hosts Chesapeake on Wednesday.
