Summit classes focus on Internet, e-mail, Word
SUMMIT — Boyd County Public Library is again offering free computer classes at the Summit Branch in May and June.
The class will be on Tuesday mornings, at 10:30 a.m., at the branch, 1016 Summit Road, across from Boyd County Middle School. Each class is limited to six participants, so registration is necessary.
In May, the class focuses on the basics of using the Internet and email. The May 5 class is full, but there is still room to take it either May 12 or 19. There is no class May 26.
In June (2, 9, 16 and 23), library staff will teach how to use Microsoft Word. Registration for that class begins May 1.
Registration can be done online, at www.thebookplace.org, or by calling Amanda Clark at (606) 329-0518, ext. 1140.
