WINDSOR TOWNSHIP — A Scottown woman was killed and three other people injured in a two-vehicle accident Wednesday evening on County Road 37 (Scottown-Lecta Road) in Windsor Township.

According to information from the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Gretchen E. Bratcher, 31, was pronounced dead at the scene by the Lawrence County Coroner’s Office.

Troopers say Bratcher was northbound on that roadway in a Nissan XE pickup truck when her car collided with a Dodge Dakota pickup truck driven by Anthony R. Lee, 18, also of Scottown. Lee and two passengers, Jennifer Brown, 18, also of Scottown and her 16-month-old niece were all taken to Cabell Huntington Hospital.

The accident occurred at approximately 6:30 p.m. one and a half miles north of State Route 217. It remains under investigation.
