Ironton police

Assault — Elm Street Saturday, two women reportedly assaulted, suspect named, all advised.

Trouble — 1800 block South Third Street Saturday, man reportedly causing trouble, left prior to officer’s arrival.

Accident — 2000 block Neal Avenue Saturday, one woman taken to police station.

Theft— Speedway, State Route 141 and Liberty Avenue Saturday, cartons of cigarettes taken by person who ran out door with them.

Domestic — Rax, South Third Street Saturday, man and woman reportedly in dispute, left prior to officer’s arrival.

Shots fired — South Third Street near Kemp Street Saturday, person reportedly firing gun out of vehicle window while driving toward Coal Grove, unable to locate.

Fight — 300 block North Fifth Street Sunday, child reportedly causing trouble on church bus, taken to police station and released to parents.

Domestic — 2100 block South Fifth Street Sunday, advised.

Breaking and entering — 600 block Lawrence Street Sunday, residence entered.

Trouble — 1000 block South Sixth Street Sunday, man reportedly refusing to leave, left prior to officer’s arrival.

Assault — 500 block Hawk Street Sunday, man reportedly assaulted, Charles L. Hobart, 49, 515 Hawk St., Ironton, arrested and taken to jail.

Sheriff’s office

Domestic — Upper Township Friday, two people reportedly menaced, Jason Young, 34, 74 County Road 119, Ironton, arrested and taken to jail.

Disorderly conduct — Sheriff’s office lobby, Fifth Street Saturday, man recently released from jail causing trouble, Jonathan Rayburn, 23, 909 N. Second St., Ironton, arrested and taken to jail.
