Naomi Mellert, 83, died Tuesday, May 5, 2009, at Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, Ky. She was born March 25, 1926, at Riverton, W.Va., to the late Mason V. and Josie Judy Lambert
She was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Harvey H. Lambert. She is survived by her husband, George “Jug” W. Mellert Jr.; one son and daughter-in-law, George “Mac” and Yvonne Mellert of Ironton; a daughter and son-in-law, Kay and Jerry McClellan of LaGrange, Ky.; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a brother, Wade Lambert.
Graveside service will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday at Springhill Cemetery, Huntington. Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the Reger Funeral Home, Huntington, W.Va.
