Construction for a bridge repair and resurfacing project on U.S. Route 52 has resumed, and contractors will be completing paving operations from the State Route 650 exit at Hanging Rock to the eastern corporation limit of Coal Grove. Traffic will be reduced to one, 11.5-foot lane in each direction. As part of this project, two lanes of northbound traffic on the 13th Street (Ashland, Ky.) Bridge will be reduced to one, left-turn lane to mitigate traffic from the bridge to a single, westbound lane on U.S. 52. This change in traffic pattern is scheduled to go into effect in late March or early April, and the right-turn lane on the bridge will not be affected by this project. The scheduled completion date for all work is Aug. 31.

A two-lane resurfacing project is under way on S.R. 775, from its junction with S.R. 141 and the Gallia County line, and on S.R. 790, from its junction with S.R. 775 to the Gallia County line. One lane of two-way traffic is being maintained by flaggers when crews are at work. The scheduled completion date for the entire project is Oct. 31.
