PROCTORVILLE — There were just too many mistakes.

Despite a solid pitching effort by Fairland’s Ashley Witt, the Lady Dragons were guilty of five errors in a 10-6 loss to the Oak Hill Lady Oaks on Monday in the Division III sectional tournament semifinals.

Witt struck out eight and did not walk a batter while scattering 11 hits. But the defensive errors proved to be too much to overcome.
