FRANKLIN FURANCE — It’s another championship for Green Lady Bobcats.

After winning the Southern Ohio Conference, Green added a Division IV sectional title by blanking South Webster 10-0 in five innings on Saturday.

Green (15-3) will now face Manchester at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday in the district semifinals at Minford High School.

Ali Thompson pitched a one-hitter. She struck out 12 and did not walk a batter.

Offensively the Lady Bobcats had 15 hits led by Abbey Barrett who was 4-4 and Cassidy Skaggs who went 3-3.

Thompson was 2-3, Tiffany Stoneking went 2-4, Breanna Johnson 1-2, Cassie King 1-01, and Andrianne Blankenship and Taylor Stevens were 1-3.

WHEELERSBURG — Andrew Elliott hurled a one-hitter as the Wheelersburg Pirates down the South Point Pointers 10-0 in five innings on Friday to win the Division III sectional tournament.

Aaron Hopper went 2-3 with a home run and Bryan White was 2-3 s the Pirates got eight hits. Caleb Leach was 1-2 and combined with White to drive in five runs for Wheelersburg (21-3).
