JACKSON, Miss. — Southern Miss coach Larry Fedora has lifted the suspension of record-setting running back Damion Fletcher.

Fletcher has been suspended since firing a gun in the parking lot of an apartment complex last winter. He pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor last March and was sentenced to six months probation and community service.

Fedora told the crowd Thursday at an alumni event that the senior from Biloxi has done everything asked of him since his suspension with the goal of returning for his senior season.
