ASHLAND, Ky. (AP) — A former bookkeeper for a Cattletsburg law firm has been sentenced to more than four years in prison on her fraud conviction.
The Department of Justice said Ronda Nixon was handed a 54-month federal prison term Tuesday by a judge in Ashland.
She was convicted in February of wire fraud, bank fraud, aggravated identity theft and use of an unauthorized access device.
Nixon worked for the Pruitt & Thorner Law Office and her indictment alleged she stole more than $93,000 from her employer.
