With all the recent basement flooding, my neighbors and my husband and I all go to city council meeting. We get answers that they are going to correct the problem. We are all temporarily satisfied.

They even mark the spot in our alley as to where this is going to go. Exactly two weeks later they tell us they have no money because over 130 people are on this list.

We are fortunate that we have insurance even though the first time the damage exceeded the coverage. When does it end? Are we all going to have to go out of county, get an attorney and file a civil lawsuit to get this fixed?

If anyone has the answer, let the south end of Ironton know!
