ASHLAND, Ky. — A “Girls Night Out” purse party fundraiser will be held Thursday, Aug. 20 to benefit Rivertown Performing Arts League, Inc.

The event will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hillside Church, located at 23rd Street and Greenup Avenue in Ashland.

A variety of fashion purses, handbags, wallets and totes will be available for purchase.  Refreshments will be served.

Health and beauty information will be offered by Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital’s Women’s Center and by Mary Kay Cosmetics.

Proceeds from the “Girls Night Out” purse party will benefit the color guard activities of Rivertown, which is a tax-exempt organization for Tri-State youth.
