COAL GROVE —Mary Jo McClellan, 46, of Coal Grove went home to be with the Lord Tuesday Aug. 18, 2009. She was born April 25, 1963, in Wooster, the daughter of the late Walter Gene McClellan and Carolyn (Judy) Thompson McClellan Wagoner who survives her. She is also survived her stepfather, Bob Waggoner, whom raised her with her mother. She is also survived by her stepmother, Jean-Anne McClellan of Columbia Station. She is survived by two brothers and sister-in-law, Brian McClellan at home, and Robert and Vanissa Waggoner of Winterville N.C.; one sister and brother-in-law, Debbie and Tom Burnside of Charleston, W.Va.; two uncles, Glen Thompson of Coal Grove and Carl McClellan of Colorado Springs, Colo.; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Mary Jo never walked on the earth but she is now walking in heaven with her Savior.
She was preceded by her maternal grandparents, Mary Slone and Clarence Thompson and paternal grandparents, Raymond and Violet McClellan.
The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at O’Keefe-Baker Funeral Home with
Rev Mike Huff officiating. Visitation is from 11 a.m. until time of service. Burial will be in Leatherwood Cemetery.
