They honored the deceased members of their class. Fun time was enjoyed passing the microphone around to different class members to talk about what they remembered about their high school experiences.

They gave gifts to the classmate that came the farthest, Glenna Davis from California, the classmate that changed least, Dick Plymale, and the classmate who changed most Phillip Koerper.

There were 53 classmates attending plus their guests, making a total of 85. There were talks about having another reunion in five years.

The nominating committee appointed Craig Allen, Richard Meyers and Richard Marting to organize the next reunion.

A good time was reportedly enjoyed by all who attended the 50th Ironton High School Class of 1959 reunion.
