GRAYSON, Ky. — Margarett Forrest, 85, of Grayson, formerly of Ironton, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, Aug. 29, 2009, at Carter Nursing and Rehab. She was born Sept. 11, 1923, a daughter of the late Kimball and Ora Carter Forrest. She was retired from AK Steel, Ashland Works, of Christian Faith and a graduate of Erie High School in 1942. She was preceded in death by one sister,Eileen Stamper, and one brother, Frank L. Forrest. Her survivors include two nieces, Barbara and husband, Luke Hamilton and Sharon and husband, Ransom Roberts, all of Grayson and three nephews, Frank D. and wife Brenda Forrest, Gary and wife, Roberta, Stamper and Larry Stamper, all of Grayson. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at Malone Funeral Home with Brother Tom Riffe. Burial will be in the Adkins Family Cemetery.
