Obstruction of justice, possession of drugs — State Route 7, Proctorville Sunday, traffic stop conducted, driver reportedly gave wrong name when asked to identify himself, passenger determined to have outstanding warrant from Jackson County, Oxycontin reportedly found in cigarette pack, crack cocaine found in vehicle, James H. Ratcliff, 56, 1142 County Road 9, Crown City, charged with obstructing of justice and possession of drugs, Norman Fulks II, 33, 17 Township Road 1156, Chesapeake, arrested on outstanding warrant, both taken to jail.

Drug paraphernalia, possession of drugs — Vicinity of Leo’s Car Wash, South Point Saturday, traffic stop conducted, driver reportedly found to have slurred speech, passenger reportedly found to have syringes, prescription bottles from Florida drug store, passenger reportedly attempted to flee when handcuffed, apprehended, two small children reportedly in vehicle also, driver, Nicholas Blaylock, 24, 1097 County Road 1, South Point, cited to court for child endangerment, Richard Robinson, 40, 104 Washington Ct., South Point, charged with possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia and taken to jail.

Theft— Township Road 1063, South Point, four-wheeler taken, description given of suspects and vehicle.

Burglary — J&M Steel, Second and Etna streets Monday,

Burglary — J&M warehouse, 918 S. First St. Monday, business entered, trashed.

Theft — Ohio University Southern parking lot, Liberty Avenue Monday, vehicle entered.

Theft — 400 block Maple Street Monday, rockers taken from porch.

Fight — Taco Bell, Ironton Hills Shopping Center Monday, people reportedly carrying baseball bats and tire irons congregating, one male juvenile reportedly taken to police station.

Theft — 1400 block South Fourth Street Monday, thief trying to take weed eater reportedly scared off by occupant.

Domestic — 800 block South 10th Street Monday. One taken to area hospital.
