PEDRO — Allan Dale Gullett 56, of Pedro, died Thursday, Sept. 3, 2009, at his residence.
The Ironton native was born Dec. 16, 1952, the son of the late Frank and Elsie Hall Gullett. Mr. Gullett is survived by his wife, Reba Sharp Gullett, whom he married July 31, 1972.
He was a 1973 graduate of Rock Hill High School and a U.S. Air Force veteran. He was a farmer, loved to play cards and was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy Gullett and a sister, Brenda Ison.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Allan E. Gullett of Pedro and Mark and Gretchen Gullett of Catlettsburg, Ky.; a daughter and son-in-law, Christy and Alpha Donley of Pedro; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Loretta Filkins of Ironton and Christena and Paul McDaniels of Ironton; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Edward and Anna Gullett of Ironton and Bill and Jan Gullett of Pedro and Ken and Joyce Gullett of Winston Salem, N.C.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Phillips Funeral Home with the Revs. Kenny Jiles and Willard Blankenship officiating. Burial will follow in Lawrence Furnace Cemetery.
